Time to Get Off, Please

May 14, 2008 08:24

The mission this week has been simple; get my projects off the needles. It wasn't that I had a high amount of projects being worked on (there were 5) but that I really just wanted to get everything done before moving on to anything else.

First, I decided to make Little One a burpcloth and some washcloths to go along with the petal bib. The burper is ( Read more... )

Aw thanks. I really like the scarf, too. Can't believe I actually frogged it and tried another pattern; this one just works so much better.

Everything is lovely. And I think that your baby gifts are surely very generous -- so, yes, in my opinion it is enough! Those washcloths are so darn cute! I think I would have felt a little guilty using such a nice burp cloth (maybe saved it for "good" occasions!) but what a nice generous size and wonderful color to hide the accompanying stains!

You inspire me with your work!
And I hope you are proud of all of the projects moved from WIP to FP!!
(Because I am quite impressed...)

Thank you; you're too kind. The main reason I picked the colors was just because I've grown tired of the typical light shades you see so often for babies. So instead I went with bright, happy colors. Now to find a nice little bag to put it all in.

Believe me when I say I'm not complaining about the WIPs now being FPs (or FOs and many would say). Lucky for me these so far have been fairly simple, quick projects. Won't be the case once I get into the next few projects, so it very well may be a WIP Wednesday.

Congrats on getting all those off the needles! I have the same problem of starting too many things at once, then having to finish them all!

Love the colors on the baby stuff!

Aw, thanks. Here's hoping I can get this second Grr washcloth done by the end of the day and this last WUA square finished, too. Then I'll have them all done. Oh right, the shawl. Crap. Okay, most of them done.

I love the colors, too. So bright and happy. As I said above, it's nice to make something in the non-traditional pastels.

Guess it's good you finished your class; but now you're not going to be on blogger....see me making a sad face. Hoped over to your blogger page from Homespun. But, now you've got me curious...what the difference between blogger and livejournal in terms of what you can do with your blog, how many people come to visit and comment etc? I'm also ways interested in what one has that the other doesn't, and enjoy learning the pluses and minues of each.

Stop in for a visit, I too am trying to finish some projects.

Have a good wkend.
Sandy
also I wonder, can you explain open ID for me?
