Pirates off the starboard bow!

The class was a beauty crew of swabbers, doing their jobs (just the way that a pirate crew would be responsible for their jobs) and listening to me (the captain)

Before journals (near the start of the day), I read part of "How I Became a Pirate" then we went outside for gym.  I had a plan for this outside playtime that was to be called 'gym'

it was a blast! I'm glad my sniffles were not too overwhelming. Today my energy is Very Low and I will blast my body with vitamins, fluids, and soupy goodness.

Really cool DP activity! We've been doing that for a year or two here in Alberta. My main contribution so far has been to introduce hackey sacks for indoor workouts when the snow and cold are too bad to go outside.

also, I figure the commands could have poses attributed to them for indoor games - maybe things like 'balance with three parts of your body touching the ground'

In my practicum school we did a lot of indoor stuff like that - and relays. I like the idea of making a 'spy camp' relay/obstacle course. The spy theme gives it a fun element, and mission impossible or James Bond theme music could play during warmup. :D
