Wow! Lots of books. I miss the days of buying lots of books...

I'll admit, this is the only time in my life I've bought this many books at once. I don't think I buy this many in a year most years. I don't work at the library anymore, so I don't have constant access to free books now.

I recognize several of those titles from my collection. :)

Out of curiosity, have you checked out paperback swap? Sometimes you can get some of the smut books through there.

Sorry to hear about the confusion about the insurance being taken out.

Which ones? If you haven't read Agony/Ecstasy yet, I definitely recommend it. :D

I'll have to check out Agony/Ecstasy. I have a handful of the Cleis collections, plus the Emma Holly single titles, Fantasy, and The Switch.

Some of them I found through Paperback Swap. I haven't looked at my whole collection in a while, and I need to revisit them.

I love Emma Holly! I wish Black Lace hadn't stopped putting out new books. I miss them. :( Cleis is good but it's not quite the same.

Seconding Paperback Swap. I love it.

Also, any erotica collections you especially recommend, het or gay? The ones I've flipped through have seemed so hit-or-miss that I never end up buying them.

I've had good luck with things published by Cleis Press, which is why I binged on them (that, and their covers are classy). I actually love a lot of the stories in the Gay Romance collections even though they're not erotica. I'd forgotten just how different gay romance/erotica and m/m romance was until I started reading Fool For Love the other day.

So far I think the themed collections are a lot stronger than the Best Of ones. I would recommend Surfer Boys, Boys in Heat, Fool for Love, Open For Business, the fairy tale ones, and the Christmas ones. There are a handful I just got today and haven't started yet, but I've read a few stories from most of them so far. I haven't started the lesbian ones yet, though ( ... )

How are you liking Mint? I just found out about it and am intrigued, though also rather wary of giving it my account info.

I like it! You have to check it frequently to get it to update on a regular basis, though. I have it set to alert me when anything more than $100 goes in or out of my account, but it doesn't auto-update, so if I get paid on Friday but don't log in until Saturday, it doesn't send the alert until Saturday, which kind of defeats the purpose.

But I like using it to track what I'm spending money on. It keeps track of your spending trends ("You spent $482 on books this month. Usually you spend $27.") and you can compare your trends against their "average" user ("You spent $96 on Amazon this month. The US average is $123.").
