Family Weekend

Jeffrey is home from college this weekend. His girlfriend Leanne joined him. We don't see him very often, one week during the holidays and one weekend in summer, so it's nice to spend a little time with him. His mom is a pain-in-the-ass. Jeff divides his time between her place and ours, plus he wants to see friends. She texts me when he's with us

I think it's very generous of you to include his mom in the dinner plans tonight. I guess it makes the boys feel good and for that my friend, I bow to you. ;-)

What's with her texting you so much? Pretty intrusive and rude and unnecessary I'd say!

Whenever Jeff comes home I always attempt to have at least one meal with everyone together. We still have holidays as a family, one way or another. Sometimes I have to work at it but I think we do okay in the civility department.

Her texting is just her way of keeping tabs and having some level of control. She's all about control.
