Atheist Easter

The Christians are out in the sun sporting their Easter best. I ventured out in my flip flops, sweat shorts and a plain white tee shirt. I did have a cap on, my Easter bonnet. I had to pick up a few items at the marketplace.

What a hoot... I like your Easter traditions.

I don't have an Easter tradition - my plans morph from year to year, but for the last couple, have including thoughts of gratitude that these days we have the kiddos hunt plastic eggs instead of real one.

You know, for that inevitable moment when the youngest toddler takes the notion to clack those eggs together...

If it weren't for Cheryl's family, and their Christian observation, this would have been just another heathen Sunday for me. We usually have holiday meals with them, in Sun City, 40+ miles away. I decided to cook rather than drive.

I have egg stories too. My boys had easter.
