thanks! i have a hard time making the effort to knit things for tiny newborn sizes, so most of what i've made should fit next winter and onward. it's so hard to know what size the kidling will be and how fast it will grown. maybe after i finish the current projects i have on the needles, i will get around to making a blanket. that's something that can be used for newborn and older.

Right, a blanket is something that you'll get more use out of. And you're on the right track with making the vegetables! I'm envisioning a knit pizza with different toppings. They make them out of wood in stores, so this would be kind of the same thing.

yeah, i definitely will make the mushroom, because as the booties can attest, i have a great love for them. but a pizza sounds intriguing, too. good thoughts! i may have actually seen a pattern for something like that somewhere, sometime ...

haha, you're right! it's more like: the project is done, and i don't feel like spending any more time on it right now unless i find a need for it later :)

The Pea Pod hat and sweater, specifically. Though I may go for the ear of corn, too. Pretty darn cute.
