i decided i love jewish christmas. it should be a yearly tradition. it was a great weekend. aviva and zohar came from brooklyn and we:

Jewish Christmas is the best.

I loved reading your list to remember everything we did. It would be hard to, otherwise, we did so much! :)

It sounds like the food and the knitting were wonderful, and I'm glad the four-wheel drive is working for you. The snow here wasn't much, but you know how Houston is: most people either slow to a crawl or continue speeding along. What's the sense in driving sensibly?

did the snow actually stick to the ground? you said it was flurries.

i also drive way slower in the snow - no sense in zipping too fast if and when you or someone else hit an unseen icy patch. less velocity can save you.

The temperature did fall below freezing, so after some time it was sticking to the ground. It probably didn't stick on the roads, but on lawns and stairs and piling up on cars.

i'm dabbler-supreme, not physicist-supreme, but it seems that if you go slower you skid less because the velocity is less ...
