It's that time, folks! We're a little over halfway there, for those of you only writing one story.

Please be aware that this check-in is MANDATORY. All authors have one week to respond to this post, no matter which date your fic drafts are due. Failure to respond by March 29, 2013 @ 11:59 PM CST means we are assuming that you have dropped out ( Read more... )

Although my first story is already halfway done, I would like to wait until May for posting both, just to be sure I don't rush it, is that okay? If I do finish before then, I can maybe be added to the April schedule then?

Of course, that's fine. If you decide to post one early, just e-mail us your draft with a note that you're set to go on the April posting schedule. And, obviously, keep your artists in the loop, to make sure they'll be ready.

Answering the poll is the only mandatory part, yes.

And your snippet is super intriguing! I've never seen Dr. Who but I'm very curious as to where you're going with this. Can't wait to see the final story!

Mine is continuing apace - it's now over 25,000 words long and I'm thinking that's probably a little over half way done (at least I'm really hoping I'm over half way - if only more ideas would stop popping into my head for subplots *head desk*)

Please take her, keep her busy - she's over active at the moment and if she suggests one more side plot/sub plot/ oh just think X could do this and then THIS would happen with way too much excitement, I'm going to wring her neck for some peace and the hope of finishing before the end of the year!

I have only one story, just over the 3K mark, but only maybe halfway through the plot and action. Maybe less. I keep looking at my schedule and debating if I want to take on another story, because I don't want to disappoint anyone. *bites nails*

We haven't had any authors officially abandon ship just yet (*crosses fingers that it stays that way*) so there's no need for you to worry. Just concentrate on what you've committed to, and if you find you have some spare time in the end, you can always sign up to pinch-hit, then.
