Totally Seasonally Inappropritate

This is partly a post for me to link to in my todo list for next spring, because I want to think about longer days (wah, it's so dark at 4:20...)

Hello and Thanks! anonymous December 19 2007, 23:48:06 UTC
Hello...great message. Thanks for you thoughts on the Eat Well Guide, I've been working on the project for over a year and helping take it to the next level. We are working hard to add all of the local listings we can, but with our small staff we need your help! Our goal is to use the Guide as a way to represent the collective food movement and to partner with all of the local and regional food guides and organizations. So send us your requests and let us know about all of the groups and amazing places that we're missing! Everyone that contributes is featured in each listing they share with a logo and a link back to their site. It's an exciting year for us and the time to expand. We're launching a travel tool this spring to help people find good food on the road and we need all the support we can get. Thanks again.

Be in touch! All the best, Destin

The Eat Well Guide seemed pretty accurate for what's here, though I know there are a lot of CSAs, etc. I wonder how submissions work -- our CSA has such a wait-list that they don't spend any effort on self-promotion...

And I'd love to think through perennials with you in the spring! (Since I have no dirt of my own.)

It's often pathetic how bad "US and Canada" websites are at actually having any accurate content about this country. Not surprising, mind you, but pathetic nonetheless.

Hi Daniel,

My name is Erin and I am the program assistant for the Eat Well Guide. I wanted to request from you the link and some information about the “Eat Local Eat Fresh” database you referred to. Can you send this to me at your earliest convenience?

I really appreciate it! Happy Holidays!

Warmly,

Erin

Permaculture peopel don't always have lawns. I have a few good organic food videos on my website at http://www.nuganics.com.au . Peak oil will force everyone to go back to local produce which is how it should be to keep the food fresh and still contain nutrition.
Kind Regards

That's the Ontario Seed Co-op; their seeds are available at the hardware store on King in downtown Waterloo.

Heh. The great thing about notes-to-self in public is the public often knows more than I do. ;) Thanks.
