planned an all back roads route to lake michigan beach today. ended up traveling for about 8 hours back and forth. i'm totally exhausted, but in a couple of weeks it should all be worth it. -

so i popped a tire on the way to galesburg last saturday. Becca and I were helping Matt and Hope Bonham clean mold off things they salvaged from their apartment. got a tube from QK here in town and was able to ride around last night. bought some stuff for my maxi, going to put on a single speed engine after my 2 speed blew up.

so on st. Today I got new tubes and what I expect will be a comfortable seat for my bicycle. The salesman suggested for long trips down the south haven trail I could get another seat that has adjustable firmness with an air pump, and I thought, there's no way in hell I'll ever ride a bicycle to south haven. but I guess people get bikes to do that sort of ( Read more... )
