A New Year fic / Scraps of ideas - part 2

Dec 31, 2006 12:27

Thought I forgot about my scraps? Oh no, I didn’t, I just didn’t have time for it lately. Sharing this particular story has been on my mind for quite a while, and since it’s New Year’s Eve, let’s make it my little New Year gift for whoever comes here. ;-)

For those who missed it or forgot, and are curious what I mean by scraps, here is the info: Read more... )

I think somehow our thoughts are going in somewhere along the same line in some way (if you know what I mean)...haha I can imagine the elite academy will be run the same way as the furniture- to which I have already put down my assumptions (in a way too detail manner if I may say so)

This is an interesting plot bunny indeed. Although the happy ever after will be hard since we want to think about what sort of employment avenues would be open to Katze, and it would surely be rather tragic if he ends up still as Raoul's furniture when they graduate?

And I forgot to say the most important words:
Happy New Year to you, my friend! May you and your family and loved ones enjoy peace and love, may all your wishes comes true.

Happy New Year to you too, Kerklin! Thanks for the greetings and for the comment.

Yes, I like to put some bitterness into happy endings. ;-) That's why I say I like mild fluff, fluffy fluff is too fluffy. ^_~ But I thought Raoul could direct Katze's life the same way Iason did. The redhead would officially be his furniture, and unofficially he could run the black market. That's better, isn't it?

Btw, sorry for not answering yet about your fic. I had less times these days than I assumed I would (I didn't want to slow down the translation and at the same time had some unexpected reading - the manga Death Note), but I started reading your fic last night and so far I like it a lot. Yes, it's quite AU, but I truly like your Katze and his actions ( ... )

Oh you are getting into Death Note eh, good for you!!
I think it's an amazing story and I've yet got enough time to read the entire series- one, because of lack of time; two, because my younger bro happens to be a HUGE FAN and he's hanging onto his mangas real tight He told me on the phone yesterday (straight after landing) that he's got the illustration books, OMG! The artist of DN is fantastic, he's gone from normal/simple, to amazing. Of course the storyline is alluring and fascinating but it's an either love it or hate it story, I think.

It might seem contrary to my usual taste for stories but my preference is dark, cynical and tragic rather than fluff; perhaps that's why I love fluffy stories, to balance it out...haha Anyway, I think my story is really AU. Since so much AU is out there, I finally decided not to care any more <(^.^; and, yes there's action but not of the horizontal kind ( ... )

First off, I read your fic finally. ;-) You know, I don't think it's such an AU as I previously thought. In the beginning it is more, as I rather don't think in the canon universe former pets had kids that grew up in Ceres, but later on, as you started to write about the elites and the way they retired (which is very similar to my theory and I think in the canon it should be just like this) I though it is actually very close to canon. As you know, I don't mind incompatibility with the canon if it makes sense and if the story is good. And yours is so far. It's this kind of good writing I saw in 'The Flaw' and 'Coincidence' (minus language problems ( ... )

Thank You! ;-D
Oh, the full name is 'scraps of ideas', so both words are included. Maybe one day I will write this fic. I did have imaginations of some scenes and it is tempting. The main question is 'when'? It'll sadly have to wait for later and if time comes for it, I will write. If not, I at least wrote down this summary, which is also giving you a story.

See? That's exactly what it is! I made you imagine things. ;-D I am glad that you had those visions, if a story inspires me to fantasize about it, it means I truly like it.
