Ugh, yeah, my brother's been pretty mad about the PSN being down too, it's so bloody ridiculous :\

All we can hope for is that Sony will be able to get back on the horse within reasonable time. I do know (from my experience) that my account details are safe money-wise because I bought a few things with my card, and that worked out fine.

I'm not really into online gaming, so this isn't having much of an impact on me (though my trophies are due to be synced and there is something I want to download lol). If anything, I'm increasingly annoyed by this anti-Sony stance so many entitled brats seems to be taking on. I'm not quite understanding how PSN being taking down temporarily for the benefit of our security makes Sony incompetent. And those boycotting in favor of the Xbox must not be aware that at one point, Xbox Live was down for two weeks, then there's that whole red ring fiasco. Not even trying to make the PS3 seem better by comparison, because each system has it's good and bad points but the good folks at Sony don't deserve all the shit they're taking over this.

Then again, I'm sure the entitle assholes fall into this category, anyway. The Vocal Minority

As soon as PSN is fixed this will blow over quickly just like every other online community-induced dramafest. Remember when Final Fantasy 13 went multiplatform and people started boycotting Sony? I mean,

Yeah, I don't get people blowing all of their money just to get an XBox is completely absurd. That red ring thing, is that the Red Ring of Death I have heard a lot about, like the moment you see that, you're machine is screwed? From what I have now read, XBox has experienced far more technical difficulties compared to PS3. But I also hope that Sony will learn the importance of good PR. There are so many questions coming it that are understandably overwhelming when they are working the best they can to get the services back up and running, but nothing has been said about it. I mean it is better to tell the truth rather than to lie, but it just seems Sony is being a little bit... secretive for lack of a better term. I dunno, I'm not one for conspiracy, but while they may be doing a marvelous job at protecting our interests, it would be nice to hear more from them about the progress. I also wanna add that my details are fine because I've been able to use my card to buy a few things and I got an Approved, so... yeah ( ... )

the sad shit is that they hacked the psn in response for the legal processing of the dude that jailbreaked the ps3 to run burned copies... ._.

Reminds me of "Hackers", only that way too uncool. I have my Portal 2 sitting there doing nothing.

Yeah, I read more about that and it seems Sony kinda dragged it out to become a bit of a media circus, so that wasn't exactly the best PR move on their part.

Yep, on the reals, which is silly. -_- I mean, if you already have an XBox, that's all good, but come on, boycotting PS3 just because they suffered a hack (something that happens quite a lot on a regular basis), okay, Sony could have been upfront with updates, but they have technically been doing the right thing. My security details are safe, thankfully, but still... le sigh.

I bought my husband a game he really loved for Easter, and he tried to log onto the network for the DLC and got so upset with the hackers - it's good to see someone(s) are blaming the hackers instead of Sony for acting in the best interest of all the private information on it.

I hope they go to jail too, the hackers, not Sony, for what's happened. Forget being just rude to countless people; but uprooting things at such a terrible time and the crime of hacking. I hope it was really worth it to them and the jail time is even more worth it for whatever stupid thrill they were seeking.

And every time they are ass-raped by their big-boned cell mate named 'Sugar Plum', I hope they think of us disappointed gamers. :D
