i've been feeling my brain atrophying... i'm challenged at work, but not in a way that makes me really learn new skills/things. this always worries me since i think i probably enjoy active learning more than any subject i learn about. i'm not saying i'm very smart and that there's that much to lose ;) however, i don't want to feel like i wasted a brain...
i got the
brain fitness program. i'm starting to delve into it. it's a fascinating and powerful thing - to learn & actively do something about the fact that
human cognition can continue to expand, even after 30. i'm really looking forward to doing this as memories are one of those things i fear losing... even though most of my life, i feel like lack of sleep has resulted me spending most of my life in a haze - that's the truly scary thought. that perhaps i never fully used my brain...
alas, the application only runs on windows. :(
