Ok - I've had another go at the tattoo design, and am after a few opinions, again. I'm sure which one I want, but again want to check if there's anything I've missed.
I like design 1, on the grounds that the reference to the London Underground design is most explicit in that one. In fact, I'd be tempted to make the moon slightly smaller in comparison to the writing to make the reference clearer, but if you've already decided which one you want, this probably isn't very helpful :)
May try this, actually, with the relative scales. Am hung up between one and three, having given it a bit of a rest, but what do you think of four? I find it pleasantly confusing.
I don't think having both stars works; either would be better than both, although I prefer the smaller one. I definitely think you should increase the relative size of the oggham. Also, in 4 the oggham is in front of the moon on both sides, rather than 2 and 3, where it appears to be interlaced with it (in front of it on the left and behind it on the right). In front on both sides definitely makes more sense.
I don't think I've expressed strongly enough how awesome this design is, have I? It's AWESOME. You are a very, very talented man. xx
Thank you, so much! Yes. Is deeply appreciated, particularly coming from you. Have re-jigged 1 and 3, as I say, and shall be putting them up later. Yes.
Personally I would err on the side of 2 as personal preference.
Also for the sake of contrast against the skin, I would suggest a slight deepening of the colours towards the edges, specifically the edges and points, to add depth to the design, bringing the larger areas of colour out more.
Another thing to bear in mind with the design as well would be the part of the body you're having it done on, as the image will be distorted slightly by the curvature of the surface.
Whereas I don't necessarily see this as too much of an issue, it can be a factor. Your artist may also be able to advise on what effect the positioning of the tattoo may have as well.
(Just thought I'd bring that up as I've had to consider this while designing the bits of the half-sleeve currently in progress.)
Thanks! Shall take under advisement. On shoulderblade, particularly on me, and particularly at the moment, it will flex a bit, but most likely stay pretty flat most of the time. Yes.

On another point, I like you and I really hope we can get to know each other anyway even though we won't be sharing a place. Keep in touch.

1 is nice, But I'm not sure how clear the cut-out star would be on skin. I prefer the star being more prominent.
