This show is so well written and the layers of details and the foreshadowing is pretty amazing.
Yes, Tatsuya clearly came off as pretty entitled, but he didn't have the deep-seated issues that the others did.
I really love this shows exploration of gender issues. There are very, very few shows that explore them with the depth and nuance Utena does.

Yep, watching such a rich show is a real treat!
Yeah, he's just flawed in the way that normal people are, not like the pieces of work that is the main cast of Utena.
Gender exploration is HUGE with me. I like to think I do a pretty good job, but, you know, no one's perfect...

Yeah, he's just flawed in the way that normal people are, not like the pieces of work that is the main cast of Utena.
