wherein I ramble about Buffy season 4

I successfully managed to avoid working on my paper tonight. Sure, it makes tomorrow a long, grueling day, but right now, I'm happy. I've felt crappy all day ("women trouble," lol), so I wasn't really up to writing a big chunk of a research paper anyway. So, instead, it's a night on the couch, watching TV with my best girlfriend.

and under here, I go on about Buffy season 4 disc 3: Something Blue, Hush, and Doomed...a lot of rambling for no good reason except I feel like it )

Ah, the nice boy conundrum. Do we want Riley? Or Spike? Why isn't it possible to have both? Sadly, I never managed that. I ended up with a Riley, which was the right choice, but that doesn't mean I don't miss the days of vamping around with the Spikes I used to know.

Hush is brilliant. Did you get halfdutch's Halloween mix that includes the music from that ep. It's good, and brings all that creepiness right back.

Yes, Spike=sex. Love him.

Nice header.

Buffy is on my list of shows to watch. I used to catch random episodes on FX but that was like two years ago. Since I had classes during that time and then this year I only have basic cable because I'm not in the dorms anymore.

Maybe I'll see if there's a torrent that'll let me have the entirety of the series... Angel was all sorts of hot in the early seasons.

I know, poor hot, not-man-enough Riley. God bless him.

And my favorite line (oh, okay, I couldn't choose just one, but you didn't mention this one) from "Something Blue" is blind Giles saying to Xander (while he is waving his finger in Giles' face) "Whatever you're doing, stop it. [pause] You smell like fruit roll-ups."

Oh, and I read your Veronica Mars paper. Interesting. It made me go back a watch a few season one eps, and then I had to start Katy and Dustin's season two that they let me borrow. Good paper but evil consequences.
