Farking hell.

Feeling quite bouncy today.

It's amazing what a few hours with friends can do for your mood. And it's all sunny and lovely; I had the equivalent of about six cold desserts in the space of nine hours.

Of course, there are bugs everybloodywhere and I spent a good portion of the day feeling sticky and unloved, but watchagonnado about that? Nothing, ( Read more... )

blah, happy, real life

Any possible enjoyment I could be getting from the heat (which, I assure you, is little to none in the first place) is being spoiled by the BUGS! I am quite literally doused in insect repellent, but apparently I taste like whatever the equivalent of dessert is in bug-land.
AARGH.

But chocolate milkshake made with vanilla ice-cream > raspberry ice-lollies.

*has nothing productive to say at all*

*pats* They are everywhere. A huge moth tried to share my shower this morning.

But ice-cream cake > chocolate milkshake made with vanilla ice-cream.

Neither do I. *waves hand airily* Carry on.

I'm not the only one who gets all Christmassy in July then? Huzzah!

Also, raspberry sorbet swirls in vanilla ice cream trumps ALL.

Don't you just want to be listening to carols and buying yourself presents? Peace on earth goodwill to all men.

Nay, I say. Ben and Jerry's Cherry Garcia is far superior.

Nay! There is this ice cream that I have back home, it is fruity and vanilla-y and covered in a yoghurt shell oh god yoghurt shells and it is like a dancing orgasm in your mouth. Not even a regular lay back and scream orgasm, it DANCES. With hats.

I put on pop Christmas songs (you know the ones, yes?) and imagine trees and shiny paper. I would like snow very much, but as I live in a country that will never have snow (well, not until a nuclear disaster or the end of the world) it is false hope and I try to stop that.

I make no sense.

Yoghurt shell? C'est quoi?

Hat-wearing orgasms are the best kind, I feel.

Or nonsense, perhaps?

Hmph, I prefer vanilla icecream. No, actually - well, it depends on my mood. Vanilla is all comforting, but lollies are more refreshing.

As for Christmassy - I sat down to watch Love Actually a few days ago and I just couldn't do it because it was too wintry. But then I often walk along the road singing Christmas carols. But that's just because I love them and they're pretty music and it's a shame we can only listen to them for about a month and also I HATE MY BRAIN.

Yeah. Vanilla is good in winter or autumn or spring, or a normal summer. Not a death heatwave summer like this one, where everyone should be living off cucumbers and melons.

I swear that movie can only be watched in three months of the year. And even that's pushing it.

YES! All the pretty songs are Christmassy. *cuddles your brain*
