There was a gap between me reading the summary for this and actually reading it so when I read, "three hundred years ago", I thought, "typical teenage exaggeration" [I pictured her as a teenager throughout the whole thing, I guess because of the affiliation between crappy old car and young people], then I read "sometime in the fifty first century" and realised it was a futuristic piece. Haha, >.<

Anyway, this made me laugh ^_^ It's a cute slice of life that paints Jesse as a normal person but insinuates more in her life [If she can't get the piece in the legit way, she has absolutely no problem with just stealing it]. And the relationship with the car reminds me of mine with my crappy car.

I think this: It wasn't the first time pillow talk had been useful was my favourite line. I picture Lily as the more calm brainy type and Jessie as an impatient, hands on girl.

She's 22 actually, but if you consider the longer life span at the time, Jesse pretty much is a teenager. Lily is...complicated.
