Please help me by user-testing my website!

As some of you are no doubt aware, I have spent the last 2+ weeks feverishly knocking a website together to display my calligraphy and art. I haven't been posting about the sundry adventures, misadventures, frustrations and triumphs of this crazed undertaking simply because it would have taken time away from production. Many battles with CSS and ( Read more... )

Nice website!

Here's what i've noticed --

Misspelled "tranlsiterate" on the Ketuba Personalization Form.
On the Gallery, my browser shows a "missing/confused image" icon before you click on a thumbnail to see the larger version; if there's a way to remove or hide that, it'd look cleaner.

Yishar koaḥ for insisting on ‘iggun-prevention!

FAQ Page: if you add empty lines down at the end, it'll preserve browsers' ability to jump to the exact right space when you click on a section heading. The way it is now, if you click on one of the ones near the end, you still need to hunt through the page on your screen to find it since it can't flush to the top.

In general the site is pretty easy to navigate. With the personalization form a couple of things:

With the other כלתא and other איתתא, I'm wondering if they should be defined or something. Perhaps the people for whom they would be relevant would know what they are, but I'm unfamiliar with the terms. Usually it's better to have more information in my opinion.

The other thing there is the Lieberman/RCA/other clause, the way you have them all filled in is a little weird, in that I'm not sure how one would fill it out. (Would you just erase the other options and keep the one you're choosing?) Maybe have it be a check box/pick one thing?

In the about you section, the following sentence is missing a period: "The next year she calligraphed her own"

And I also agree with boroparkpyro's sentiment on the iggun prevention. Hopefully someday all people who write ketubot will insist on it.

Your header graphic and clever domain name are made of awesome.

As is the personalization form.

Most of the language is exceptionally clear. That's really important in a site for people who want a service they're not at all familiar with.
