Last night I got to hang out with my good friends, Ray and Mike, from back in the day. Way back! In turn got to meet some new people too. My G'ma is back in the hospital. I found out yesterday that her pneumonia is really bad now. She went into the hospital with choking problems and they were considering installing a feeding tube in her so she could eat. After doing a blood test they discovered that she doesn’t have any white blood cells. This is a sign that her body is trying to die ( Read more... )

This week it feels that I am trudging down the dark and dreary path. Monday I went straight from work to the Emergency room. My G'ma had fallen twice more that day. After the second fall she had what the nurse thought was a seizure. Turns out that it was a seizure and that when she fell two of the vertebrae in her back broke. The last weeks has had its ups and downs...

My G'ma went into the emergancy room because of dehydration and a Urinary Tract Infection. Doesn't sound like much, but when you are almost 94 years old that can have quite an impact. I was supposed to be dealing with work deadlines this past week... Sort of did that in a haze of a Migraine that lasted me 6 days. Longest in awhile. Sort of faked my way through my work stuff and went directly home and crashed the rest of the week. Thursday night the migraine finally lifted.
