I own Oregon Trail. You must have heard of that, computer game, pioneer simulation-y thing. Right. So I have a bit of an obsession with going in, naming all the characters after a certain fandom, and then playing it through, writing in the Diary in character. Incredibly geeky, I know. How awful! I actually sniffled when Sarah and Rose died. I played this game when I was younger and it never upset me this much.

I haven't read it yet (and I'm going to) but I do that all the time too. The funny part was when I had the original Star Trek Crew and they managed to all drown except Kirk on the first river.

Never done it with Doctor Who Fandom yet. Mostly because my CD-Rom is at my one grandmother's and I haven't been there in awhile to play.

I think after that, Jack's going to have to take over because the Doctor's going into his depressive mood which so far only Donna has been able to deal with.

I have played Oregon Trail so many times as "TheDoctor", with Jack, Rose, Martha & Donna as my "party".

when i read this fic i got memories of the frustration i had with this game. I kinda laughed when people died in your fic ( all but rose...i'm mean i know) but i remember that being a huuuge frustration. I did learn that peppermint can help troubled tummies however. great fic and will add to memories :P

Oh my god! I remember that game, you always died of some disease...okay I just googled it cholera. Yeah depressing game especially when you're in the first grade.
Anyways the fic. Cruel game!!!! It was like funny at first and entertaining but then it just got like so sob and angsty. Wow. Brilliant though. You write him very well.
