So my internet has been down for a few days. Got it fixed today. What happened between last week and this post? A lot of talking to people. Admissions, financial aid, cashier, book store, other students...everybody. Things are settling in a little better. I'm not ready to hang myself. Today was better. Classes will actually be fun. This is weird. This is the first time classes have been keeping me somewhere and band is a reason I want to leave. I think I will be okay. That is, if I can find enough money to pay for my books. And band fees. And parking decal...

Life sucks and then you die. No, it isn't really that bad anymore. I did really hate it here at first. Band camp was NOT the best way to start college. It provides a very skewed view of how college will be. Not to mention they roomed me with a football player. Nothing wrong with football players, of course. I finally got a job. I started at Video Warehouse Monday. I was hired at the one across from WalMart, but I'm training at the one across from the Medical Center. It's pretty cool. Over the past six weeks I have read All 7 Chronicles on Narnia, all of the Lord of the Rings books (excluding The Hobbit), and I have about 20 pages left in The Great Divorce. The other day I had to go to Wallace and take a placement test (The Compass Test) so I could do dual-enrollment for English next year. Well, technically I didn't have to go take the test.
