I love the editing on the Kara and Sam Resurrection alternate scene.
I really like what you did with The Shape of Things to Come deleted scenes. The concept is very interesting and cool. I like how you bypassed the planet being our Earth as it being a random green planet. OMG, Lee and Sonya!
MASSIVE LULZ @ the mockumentary. "Biiillll. I have pickles."
The um, mystery side-kick fan-editor who voiced Biiiiiiillllll is very pleased the pickles were a hit.
And obviously, any compliments on my editing from you are deeply appreciated, cus you're amazing. ;)
I'm really glad that the alternate scene is coming across well; I really wanted to save that speech somehow and even if the show doesn't freqently use flashbacks, it seemed the easiest way to keep the conceit of it being a scene rather than a spoken-word vid (though really it's that too, probably) without it becoming extremely obvious that we're not seing anyone's lips move.
I had a good (if sometimes frustrating) time with the Shape of Things to Come stuff. I thought it was a good way of stressing that the future here will be different and like you say, it could be any planet (though I've always been okay with people wanting to believe that they eventually get to our Earth in the past; just hopefully this time minus the colonialism, anti-tech and sexism? I'm still kinda hung up

Yay! I'm so glad you enjoyed them. I was particularly glad to be able to save the Kara/Sam speech so it's great to hear that it's being enjoyed. And cracktacular AUs are always great, right?
At this point, I'm sorry to say, I have no plans to make any further "canon" for Battlestar Redactica.
I do wish I could have done more with Roslin as she has always been my favourite character.
I was a little disappointed, however, that her 4.5 storyline became so overwhelmingly about her romantic relationship, and in fact that's one of the issues that I attempted to address when I re-edited these episodes.
I mean no offence to those who are a fan of that relationship - indeed I strongly wish it had been handled better as it's unusual and brave for a show to make its big, romantic endgame about a middle-aged couple and I would very much like to have been able to support it more fully as a storyline - but I figure I should be honest with you about the premise of the project.
yeah, You know I love Laura and I love her relationship with Bill but I love so so much Laura as president, as strong awesome LADY with power, she was really awesome in politics and I missed "this Laura" in 4,5 but ohhhhhh I miss them so so much even now :( *hugs*
BWAHAHAHAH! Oh my god. The uncontrollable giggles started with 'Laura Roslin:' "we can make luuurve, in the paint," and by the time Adama's interview was over I was rolling around on the sofa. My roommate came to investigate and would like to know what kind of crack you're on and where she can get some. ilu, man. <3
You still have a Boglin! Jeez you really take good care of your toys!
Ulysses 31 and Conan the "Adventurer" refrences! Street Frighter 3 figures and dewbacks! You guys really crack me up, that was alot better than thoughs old adam and joe tv shows.
thanks so much! I really enjoyed the whole cycle, outtakes and all; I saw Chaila's vid, and thought HEYHEYHEYDIDSOMEONEDOITRIGHTMAYBE??? now i just want fic that fleshes out the shape of things to come. maybe someday. also--the sonja touch was BRLLNT; my own pet lee post-finale pairing is with ishay, but this? i found myself thinking that this could be cracktastically perfect.
You're totally welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed it and yes, Chaila's vid is just a perfect vid-based version of all I was trying to do with "Resurrection"! I feel so lucky that she decided to play here. I kind of want fic that fleshes out the shape of things to come too! ;) Maybe I'll get lucky and someone will make that for me; or maybe one day I'll do it myself, though I think I may have said what I have to say with this.
The Ishay pairing is definitely one I can get behind too (and also is slightly cracktastic given the marital status of the actors involved!) but I'm glad you enjoyed the Sonja part too. I can't exactly remember when that became my post-finale crackship of joy, but, um, at some point it did. And then when I was making these, I realised that, hey, I might actually be able to pull a scene like this off.
