The um, mystery side-kick fan-editor who voiced Biiiiiiillllll is very pleased the pickles were a hit.
And obviously, any compliments on my editing from you are deeply appreciated, cus you're amazing. ;)
I'm really glad that the alternate scene is coming across well; I really wanted to save that speech somehow and even if the show doesn't freqently use flashbacks, it seemed the easiest way to keep the conceit of it being a scene rather than a spoken-word vid (though really it's that too, probably) without it becoming extremely obvious that we're not seing anyone's lips move.
I had a good (if sometimes frustrating) time with the Shape of Things to Come stuff. I thought it was a good way of stressing that the future here will be different and like you say, it could be any planet (though I've always been okay with people wanting to believe that they eventually get to our Earth in the past; just hopefully this time minus the colonialism, anti-tech and sexism? I'm still kinda hung up on the idea that they really DID find our Earth and it was a nuke Cylon colony though...)
LEE & SONJA is my new shiny toy! Like, on a completely crack!serious level I think it'd work really well with Lee's continuing issues with cylonicity and Sixes are never not awesome. Plus I think I like it because it's something completely new there? Like, most of the other scenes are about characters/themes/ideaas that we already knwo about. But Lee/Sonja kind of comes out of nowhere.
Originally that scene was placed between arriving at the planet and Kara's speech about how she's the harbinger of death. To like, hammer home they'd found this wonderful new place and THEN have Kara deliver a dose of reality. But it was suggested to me to put it last because it doesn't destroy the chronology, and also because the chronology is very loose anyway and this is a more a) hopeful and b) cracktacular/different ending than Chief on his after Nicky's run off someplace. Also the hilarious idea that Lee/Sonja is the EPIC ROMANTIC ENDGAME. XD
And now I'm babbling about nothing so, thanks for the feedback. You are awesome. :)
