I've seen so many "Eliot is a Man Whore" stories, and I guess I kind of wanted to do one but classify it as a problem, at least on some level. I wanted him to have issues getting intimate in other ways outside of sex, that way his feelings for both of them, when not fulfilled, gets him more hurt than it would if he had already had plenty of emotional attachments in his life.
But I just have this thing with emotionally destroying my main characters lol
And yes, I needed a way to get them all stuck together, otherwise logically Eliot would avoid them both lol

Hm, that's an interesting perspective. I can see that. I think how everyone interprets it though is based on what's been observed in their own life, more so because the writers leave so much up to fan interpretation that nothing is ever really a fact. So we all take what we have observed in others, match it up against the qualities or actions we have observed in his character, and come to a conclusion. Personally I can relate to Eliot on that level, if it is the case, and I think that's why I portray him that way. To me, he does have a thing with so many women because he's trying to find what he had in Aimee, and give him a chance to correct it and do it right this time. Only now the problem is that everytime he gets close to being that way again, he freaks out. While I think its because of just the fear of screwing with someone again, alot of it does come into play because of his work, and that fact that it doesn't allow for much permanence or stability in his life.
Aha. Yes, I did hotlink. I'm a bad girl.
