My first angst fic! And I'm not too thrilled with it and pretty much hate the ending, so I probs will revise soon enough. But in the meantime, didn't wanna keep you hanging <3

i loved it, it was in a way bittersweet, because they were so close, and it showed a sad, less energetic side to keith, but then there was pete going SNAFU. the ending was good, with john going off to kill pete. ;)

Sorry I haven't commented earlier. XP I sorta took a week from pretty much everything (long story, drama, lj tomorrow).

And I'm sad to say that, upon multiple reads, I haven't found exactly what I *want* to say! Yet. But, I do have two questions: When does the story take place? Will there be a follow-up?

I don't have anything bad to say, BTW, I just need a bit of info to formulate a full opinion. ;)

Aww, I'm sorry to hear that. :S *hugs* It's fine, I've barely been on anyways, haha.

I kinda left the time period open to your imagination, but I was thinking around '67, when Keith was still getting used to everyone, but had enough time to get close to John.

I'm not quite sure about follow-ups. : / I'm not quite made for angsty fics, as you could prob tell. I can't keep a consistently emo feel unless I feel like that myself. XD But thanks, I'm so touched you were looking for more! I do agree, it really doesn't feel over. I just wasn't quite sure how to end it, ugh

It sort feels late era to me, because of John's initially dismissive attitude, Keith's accepting reaction, and the fact that Pete seems more likely to engage in that behavior later on. It was a more bitter period, you know?

And yeah, it really calls out for more. If you continue the emo seriousness, you could open it wide. But, I'm always looking for ways to stretch a short story into a fully developed novella! XD
