Thanks for everyone's comments on my last post. I'm still excited, but now that things are officially in motion I have a lot to think about. My biggest concern is learning how to take notes properly, study and get on a daily schedule - basically everything I've forgotten how to do over the last 10+ years ( Read more... )

and OMG!!!! about Spencer!!! WOOOOOOW!! An honor!!! That's so exciting!! I'm so happy for you! What an EXCELLENT way to not only get a toe through the door but a whole foot! LOL..... .... That's GREAT!!

Hey, my DH did HillTop for some extra cash too. It was Ok, but beware, we had follow up automated calls about other opportunities for YEARS. Eventually they stopped calling us, but it was a long time. Sometimes I was tempted though... hundreds of dollars! He did a lotion study too with the patches.

311! I've been in training with two 311 staff and it sounds like an amazing opportunity. I was actually thinking about telling people about it for working part time. They're an essential service that the city people are very very thankful for. Fire, Police, Paramedics, city (roads, sewer, water, etc) have all spoken very highly of them and talked about how wonderful the service is. I'd go for it! The two employees were young, enthusiastic and really seemed nice. :)

Good luck with the Spencer thing too!

I'm so glad to be on the last day of the study! I have four appointments today and then one last one tomorrow, just for them to take a final look at my skin and collect my cheque ( ... )

I love that you have so many options that seem perfectly suited to your situation. Keep me posted. :) I can't WAIT until you start actual classes! Another business nerd for me to play with, I won't be the only one! Yaaaaay!
