Look... a meme

For a few heartbeats, the Planet simply stopped turning, and the laws of space and time were entirely suspended. Everything was reduced to one single thought, the answer to all questions ever asked and the key to all mysteries of the universe. There was no you, no I, only we, an entity that could not be separated, not by force, not by fate, not ( Read more... )

YAY, you did it! And I would say you definitely have the character of Genesis down. Your Genesis is one of my absolute favorites, you give him a sensitivity and humanity that no one else does.

Awww, thank you sooo much :) cutecookiecat August 22 2010, 15:35:54 UTC
Yes, I did it :)

You think so? Really? Really?? Reallyreallyreally???
I know I'm overdramatic, but that means so much coming from you! Oh sweet merciful Goddess, I'm not worthy... (*stops talking and hugs you instead*)

In that case, it's definitely worth putting up with Gennie-muse's mood swings and bad tempers.

Gennie-muse: Hey! I heard that.

Me: It was a joke, sweetheart.

Gennie-muse: Don't 'sweetheart' me. And ever since your last two chapters, I'm allergic to the phrase "It was just a joke". (*sighs*) Sometimes I have really no idea why I keep talking to you...

Oh, they are so temperamental, aren't they?

Whenever I insist on writing something Gennie-muse considers 'beneath him' or plain uncomfortable, I risk that he stops talking to me for while.
Angeal-muse is much more consistent, and I can always try and use him to lure Gennie-muse out of his sulking corner... the stress is on 'try' though.

Hm, I really need to acquire a Sephiroth-muse as well...

Yay! A meme ;) chibipinkbunny August 22 2010, 15:42:44 UTC
Oh, so you don't like Genesis just because he's hot? Lol, good to know ( ... )

Oh, I must have phrased this wrong. Of course I like Genesis because he's hot. I mean, what other reason is there to like him?

And the only reason why I write him and Angeal as a couple is because those two are the hottest characters in the game (I mean, who else is there? Zack? Of course not.). That's also why they make out in every chapter of my story... wait, something's wrong here. ;)

(*irony-mode off*)

Sometimes when I write fluff, I'm not really sure whether or not a line is too sappy. You know what they say: "If in doubt, throw it out." That's what I usually do, too. At least I try...

Oh, I don't think I'm worthy being compared to Faulkner. In fact I'm sure I'm not. This is just an extention of the good old 'moment the world stopped turning'.

I just thought it was interesting that three different people commented on the same thing (this doesn't happen that often).

Looking forward to talking to you soon... :)

Heya :) cutecookiecat September 21 2010, 04:39:10 UTC
Oh, great to see you here! (What a pleasant surprise, just got up and have to get ready for school now...)

Hope you enjoy your stay on LJ. I'm quite fond of it, even though I don't post an awful lot...

As for the meme: You agree with me? Why am I not surprised? :)

Oh yes, it all makes sense now: my character preferences, the reason why I absolutely adore your stories and why we sometimes think eerily alike, the fact that Gennie-muse is even talking to me (occasionally)... Jenova cells. It's that simple.

You think I can write Sephiroth? Really? Oh wow... That means a lot coming from a person who got his character down to a science. I still feel like I find him hard to write. He's so... impressive.

*hugs* back!

PS: Saw your journal design... I started out with the very same one ;) (But I changed it, as I didn't like some parts of it, e.g. the tag layout.)

That's a situation I know really well. Some memes tend to inspire me when I see them, but in the end I'll only do a very limited amount. If I think about it and realize that there are too many questions I can't answer, I won't do it.

Some time ago, sphinx started posting a really nice but very detailed writer's meme. Since I know that some answers will turn into long ranting, I haven't tried doing it so far...

Simple answers are the best, aren't they? ;) (Your Sephiroth-muse seems very un-amused... but I don't blame him.)

Yeah, I admit there's a lack of Sephiroth. I'll try to fix that...

I'm not paying either. I don't like it, so I don't have 'premium accounts' anywhere.
Computers and me is a very difficult topic... it takes me ages to figure things out. CSS coding sounds complicated.
