Muraki might hear a familar voice crow in his head: What the hell are you doing? If he looks up, he'll find Genkai, with the equivalent of that question on her old face.

He'll groan a bit in his sleep, then opens his eyes. "Maybe I shouldn't have had that half dozen Cadbury Cream Eggs," he mutters, one hand going to his stomach. Then he looks up at Mia sheepishly. "Errr, hi," he fumbles, a bit embarrassed to be caught in this situation.
