Well I'm back in London on a semi permanent basis now (till septemberembero).  Still have 2 more exams, but that's not for 2 weeks and i'll only be gone for 3 or 4 days or something.

I've been thinking that I'm going to try out for Teletech. The first month of training is paid and I don't know as it really requires any skills that, say, you or I or James don't have. It's a call-centre, but I think there are big differences between that and your terrible telemarketing job! The big one is that the worst thing you can do to someone is just not help them, as opposed to tricking them into buying magazines that they will never read. I dunno. It seems like a pretty perfect summer job to me. Low responsibility and half-decent pay and no long-term commitment and all that.

I'd be totally cool with a phone job as long as I"m not trying to get people to buy shit.. I usually enjoyed the actual talking to people bit.

I don't know if John works there. Rich worked there and hated it, but I think that's 'cause he's an actual IT professional. If it's all still the same, I think that the calls are mostly from New York and have something to do with whatever the hell Teletech does.
