Is that the 1989 television drama - Pauline Moran played the part of The Woman in Black? Her performance was outstanding, the merciless, menacing look just sends chills down to the bones. I agree, that brand of subtle horror really makes the imagination work overtime.

In October, they'll be doing a stage production of The Ghost and Mrs. Muir. They start selling tickets this month, I'm hoping to be able to get some. I adore the novel as well as the film starring Gene Tierney and Rex Harrison. Didn't get to see the series properly, although I have spotted clips of it on YouTube.

You described the essence of the ghost, Jennet Humfrye's tragedy and the eternal fate her soul is trapped in, far better than I could. As you say, an extremely poignant note/theme to it!

Thank you, I'm really looking forward to seeing it! I just hope they can capture and build up all those complex and conflicting feelings invoked by the character.

I enjoyed all the three books. The concept is a new one and all the books were amazingly well written. You recommended the books to me and I really enjoyed reading them. :)

I thought the concept might appeal to you too, when I was recommended them. I'm glad to hear you did enjoy the series. :D I'm happy I finally got the chance to read them myself. I'm thoroughly enjoying Inkspell, at present.
