GUD needs more horror, imo. But then, I think it needs a little more of everything. ;) Especially non-fiction. Just a little.

Have you read any issues of Apex Horror & Science Fiction Digest? Or any other modern short-form horror mags?

I know that feeling all too well.

I (mostly) enjoyed the last issue of Apex, and am looking forward to the next one. ((It seemed with Issue 9 that the more prominent the writer, the poorer the writing... which makes sense, but was still disappointing and/or frustrating and/or upsetting))

But I'm pretty easy going when it comes to reading short-form fiction, I think, unless I'm considering it for GUD or I'm reviewing it.

Scares are cheap. Things that disturb us to our very roots are the diamonds in an otherwise forgettable collection of rhinestones.
