Original Intent

I read this post by one of our members, as well as the comments to the post, and I feel that I need to explain why I created this community, to clear some things up. I want to explain the 'original intent' of this community, and address some discomfort that some of our members are experiencing.

I've had to remind a lot of people about various rules lately... so I'm posting them for easy viewing. Everyone please read them and abide by them. If you don't like a rule, comment at this link and I'll at least consider changing it. (comments at that link are screened)

I've noticed (and a few members have commented) that the mood of this community has been shifting from positive to more negative, and that we aren't celebrating our curves so much as commiserating about them.
