Honestly, I'm not a fan. I've *tried* -- I read Vineland and The Crying of Lot 49, read about 100 pages of V. in high school and about one-third of Mason & Dixon when it came out, and he just doesn't do it for me.

I LOVE the first three books -- I may even read them again, which I never do -- but thought that things were getting really convoluted in the fourth. I'm not holding my breath until the next ones come out, although the possibility of an HBO show really intrigues me.
