The fresh curls is okay, it is pretty gentle on your hair though. I prefer the All Soft line, it really helps with frizz. I have medium-fine, thick hair though.

I don't think you should listen to the second chick if she's not willing to consider what works for your hair. That's essential information that you are giving her.

Anyway, I also like the Butter "something' deep conditioner (it's Redken too), it helps with frizz and loosens up my curls a little for those wavy haired days.

Ohhh thanks. I have a few frizz issues so I think that All Soft would be better. I think I may have to try Redken one day soon. I can see myself with cabinets full of products! :)

I use Cynthia Sylvia Stout and American Cream from Lush for 'everyday', then I use Retread for the occasional deeper condition. My hair mostly loves them. Not cheap, but I think they're worth it. I've yet to give Curly Wurly a go.

I'm a bit scared of Cynthia cos of the smell! But a few people have recommended it so maybe I should try! I think I am going to become a Lush addict... :S

I love the smell of Cynthia!

But I usually use it with Jungle, which has its own gorgeous smell.

i have lots of fine hair too and i love redken fresh curls conditioner [although i haven't tried the all soft line]. The fresh curls conditioner isn't super thick [it's probably one of the thinnest conditioners that i've ever tried] so i would think that it wouldn't over load delicate bleached hair.
i've stopped asking sales people for their opinions on products because when it comes down to it you are the only person with your exact hair and you know it better than anyone else ever will.

Yeah I might stop asking too! But, even though I know my hair, I still have no clue about what will work on it! Cos I have no idea about products and don't have much money to spend trying new things. I need more curly haired friends to borrow stuff from! LOL

It's funny that you say that Fresh Curls was light, but that silly saleswoman said my hair 'wasn't ready' for it. I trust you over her, cos you've actually used it! thanks :)

It sounds like we have the same hair. I personally use a tea tree oil shampoo from paul mitchell or a giovanni shampoo. And I just use Anti breakage conditioner by Tresemme. Its literally the best conditioner I have ever used, and i have used the redken line, and the catwalk line, and a few other more expensive ones. None have worked as good as this one. Its super cheap and you get a hugh bottle. So I also use it to shave my legs with. It doesnt weight my hair down which is hugh for me since mine is fine enough as it is.

I'm a bit scared if the smell of Cynthia! But I am definitely open to new things if Curly Wurly doesn't work for me. I am hoping it does though cos it smells sooooo nice!

I'm looking forward to Coolaulin too. I think I need to rush to try them right.now! :)
