Tying back curls

I have just begun to embrace my curly hair after 23 years of fighting against it :) So far I've been using the Curly Girl routine, which has really decreased the SIZE of my hair and has made the curls more defined. Now I love wearing my hair curly and am reluctant to let my former best friend the Flat Iron touch it or to tie it back like I used to ( Read more... )

I go for a low loose bun. Anything a bit messy that still shows a bit of curl is good.

The front of my hair was like that from being straightened, but it recovered pretty quickly, and I still straighten it some days. So yours might bounce back too :)

I get stringy front-curls too. Sometimes I just play around with small clips/bobby pins to get the front part of my hair out of my face. I just play around until I get something cute.
