W.I. Card making evening

Last night it was W.I. night and we had a card making workshop, as well as feed back from our area rep at the National conference.

We were making cards using pastels and pieces of card embossed with flower patterns for us by the tutor.

These were my two finished cards;

Thank you - they were a whole new concept to me, and the sort of thing that comes out remarkably well first time.

Oh - they are very pretty! Another craft to learn! Lol!

It was very calming - we applied the pastel powders with tiny eye-shadow sponges and the tutor pointed out that it was possible to use cheap eye-shadows for much the same effect :)

That’s interesting. I have quite a few old eye shadows I bought for dance shows that might work!
