And another peaceful thing - last night I finished this picture which is my first ever attempt at needle-felting. It is a very Manx scene!

Isn't it fun! I had a friend who used it to make birthday cards and gifts and have always wanted to give it a try - and finally I got my act together to have a go.

Pretty picture. I've done a lot of wet felting but haven't tried needle felting yet.

It is very satisfying to be able to stab it repeatedly with a sharp point!

Never tried needle felting, but the outcome of your first attempt is very nice! I especially love your sheep!

I have seen so many kits and videos of making 3D figures, but I had a friend (who sadly died a few years ago in a mountaineering accident) who used it to make pictures and small cards, and I always wanted to try doing the same thing.

I am really pleased to have finally got around to it and discovered it is pleasingly straightforward, and also very satisfying to stab it viciously!
