I love your light netting. I had a much smaller one than that years ago and was sad when it stopped working and now they're impossible to find. I hope Cathi sees your photo...she is busy baking and making cards these days herself.
And now I want some fudge...one of my favourite sweet things.
I hope the scents of baking and painting aren't mingling too much!
Yes - I'm not sure if you can still get them these days.
I have made mince-pie fudge - there may be cherry and ginger stull as well by Christmas.
The baking is tending to keep the smell of paint at bay a little downstairs! The bedroom is almost finished - Nigel is coming back to do the last bit of papering on Monday morning when all the woodwork is completely dry.
I have just looked and it is still possible to get them - worth knowing in case this one gives up the ghost! I was really pleased when I realised those stars would work there.
I have no idea why the chocolate fruit and biscuit confection is called tiffin, to be honest.
I've always rather wanted a set of tiffin tins like those.
Some of my friends have those tiffin containers, I want some too! And I also want a new set of lights like yours, mine broke after about 5 years of use.
They come all fastened together into that net - and we put some clear plastic hooks up the first Christmas in this house which stay in place - so it is just a case of finding the four corners (I tie a ribbon on each!) and fastening it up!
I must say I prefer the smell of the baking to the paint.

Very similar to rocky road - but usually the pieces are smaller so you get almost a fudgy, crumblier effect with less obvious chunks.

When I think of tiffin I think of metal containers for Indian food to go, but now I get it reading the comments :)
Your cakes sound lovely!

The light net does looks very effective - I was really pleased that it worked in this window.
