That is funny, but it made me cry a bit. I want things to go back to normal, and people in hell want ice water.

I am reaching the 'bored now' point. We have been doing pretty well, but we are back to 'expected to mask' point as our numbers go up.

And, honestly, as almost all the new cases over the past few days have been it going through one secondary school, about 12 miles away, and most of the kids involved are not really particularly ill, I am thinking we could have held off a bit longer.

Ah, well... being able to laugh at it all does help.

Not Covid secure enough to be let into the house! Because, you know, tested negative and ten minutes later positive, you never know, so stay at home alone and be safe! This, of course, is the opinion of our government only. Oops, I forgot that we do not even have a Santa, we have the Christkind who has to stay outside! Poor child!

Hmm - perhaps the powers that be will start to use the Christkind as an excellent example of good ventilation and not letting non-household-members into your house... :P
