The skies are quite wintry now. You haven't had any frost yet? I'm always amazed at how green your grass is. You've been a bit hectically busy! Hoping that S2C's lump is nothing of note. Is it superficial or under the skin? Just wondering...
I've always loved your Advent Calendar...teens can be so blasè about things but inside they still like them.
We had a touch of ground frost but the back garden is pretty sheltered. The grass could really do with a bit of a tidy but I can't see it getting much chance to dry out enough for the foreseeable future.
The lump is superficial, and the dermatologist says he can remove it easily as an outpatient in January. It is at the nose end of his eyebrow and his glasses are irritating it now.
I think he was quite happy to have his share still :)
Yesterday just gobbled you up, that is very, very busy! I am not sure I could be that busy, impressive! Love the advent calendar with all the pockets stuffed!
It's sad you had to cancel, so many unknowns right now with the new variant, I keep hearing different things about it, sighh. Maybe in a few weeks they will know more.
It really did - I was just glad to get home and flop in the end!
I think it was the right decision, to be honest, especially as the great majority of cases on the island are currently in children and young teens, but I was glad it was not my call to have to make.
I had to smile at your missing day. I get a few of those, although mine are usually caused by the lack of activity, rather than an excess of them. Although Boris says we should not cancel anything, I'm with your church. If it's a business, I can see the need to carry on, but with voluntary stuff why take the risk?
We are happy to continue with Sunday Worship and, almost certainly, a coffee morning nearer Christmas, as these are both in the main part of the church and there is a lot more space to spread out. But I think, especially as the majority of our cases are in the under 14 year olds at the moment, it was the right call for now.
The most restful part was actually the drive back from Ramsey and a period of about 30 minutes in the shop where I had checked orders, tidied shelves, and there were no customers and so I sat and began to read my 'Book for Advent' this year - Haphazard by Starlight.
