Thank you. I was really pleased with the cake - as long as it tastes good when we cut it!

We were really quite happy with just the pair of us.

So were we. We missed my brother, sister-in-law, nieces, nieces' partners, nephew and great-nephew, but we enjoyed having a peaceful day.

That's a brilliant t-shirt and I love the cake decoration. The holly wreath looks excellent on the door :)

A peaceful day with festive food has a lot to be said for it, I think.

It was so nice to have a family Christmas. I always buy socks - usually one or two pairs each, but this year I knew a couple of people were a bit short of socks and so there were a couple of 7 pair packs this year.

The cake turned out beautifully! I see the wreaths made by NYK1 were the inspiration.

It all sounds lovely. The three of us take turns opening gifts also.

They were! I had blank cake, and he said "We could put one of these on top of the cake!" From there came the idea of adding a door to hang the wreath on.

It was just a really nice day - friends to greet at church in the morning, quiet and calm at lunch and early afternoon, and family in the late afternoon and early evening :)

I honestly don't know where she got the T-shirts, I must ask sometime.
