Sunday School was fun - even though there were only 4 of them. We talked about worry, sharing burdens, and working together. I'm looking for any reason not to use the oven this week--we'll have temps in the 90Fs and high humidity, very much "keep the lights dim and the shades on the west side drawn and for heaven's sake don't make anything hot" weather.

And then our TV comes from the UK, and each individual UK country is doing its own thing, depending on their own circumstances. So there will be pictures of people in crowded bars in England, then an announcement that non-essential shops are about to open in Scotland, people in Wales may begin to travel more than 5 miles from home and their cafes and pubs may now offer outdoor seating and service, and Northern Ireland are opening beauty parlours today and will allow indoor weddings from July 10th.
Currently they are now at the point where there were only 15 deaths from the virus in England since Saturday and none in Scotland, Wales or N Ireland - but certainly not caught up to us yet.

The pasta is such an easy thing - but with a good flavour balance so that it is really moreish.
The children who come enjoy 'Sunday School' - although if I told them it was really a Bible Study class they would be most surprised :)

It's good to be less heavy handed about it and make it something they enjoy (and then learn stuff when they aren't expecting it). :D

Poor sparrows! Suet seems a funny thing to have a shortage of. Is there a beef shortage in general or just the suet?

We don't have a beef shortage, but then most of our beef is local - but there are problems in meat processing plants all over the place, so perhaps that's why as I would guess the bird ball manufacturers come low on the list for supplies :)
