Just got home from a day out and missed Spain who was no. 2 but am so sick of that mushy ballad I don't care. Estonia was almost opera! Norway...cute and clever but not my thing.

Do they take it at all seriously, or do they regard it as a big party the way the BBC do?

This lad is a bit twee. Also the organisers said no more big screens on the stage adding graphics. So the Norwegians have added them to the TV feed. So the people in the theatre don't see some of what we see.

S2C says the only positive thing he can say about it is that 'it is better than the Czech one (still to come) - but so is having a root canal filling without anaesthetic.'

Yeah - it's bouncy, but there's not much to it.

Ah, what would Eurovision be without S2C's commentary? *g*

Portugal was really quite nice. But now it is the dreaded 'visit to the Green Room' - might be time to get the lager out.

Germany's is very, very like a particular Adele track.

Still, you don't often get Eurovision competitors singing tributes to their dads.

I liked it - S2C says if it wins Adele will doubtless be able to win a massive plagiarism settlement.

Maybe she could just ask for a writing credit!
