I really don't think they are rigged - sometimes the winners shock everyone including the organisers - like the time Lordi won!

Hmmm. Somehow, I keep hearing Maglor in my head muttering about modern young artists and what passes for lyrics today. Admittedly, that is my own common complaint about most music these days. But the singer really did look elvish. FIGWIT, indeed.

I had a similar thought about Maglor when I saw it.

But it shows how well brought up my daughter was that I got a message whilst he was on which said Woooo go the naked elf for Belarus!

He does look like a PJ elf! I haven't watched Eurovision in years... I wonder if I'm missing something. It was so much fun in the 80s, when I was a kid.

Eurovision is wonderful. We laugh at it, make catty remarks about some of the acts, pick out our favourites...

D-d and her friends, like many others, have a big Eurovision party - they also have semi-final parties on a smaller scale. She actually went, with a bunch of her friends, to Eurovision 2014 and had a brilliant time.
