Actually, to be correct, it is sunset from the Mountain Station. Last night S2C and I went for the evening to an 'Indian Hill Station themed evening' at the cafe on the top of our only mountain; Snaefell ( Read more... )

It was a good evening - although there was unexpected 'entertainment' on the way back down as a group of 30-somethings had drunk too much and kept trying to have a sing-song except they couldn't remember the words to any of the songs they started.

Thank you. It was really rather good - they are doing an African themed evening sometime ans we are quite tempted.

Beautiful pics, as always. The colours, especially in the last one are fantastic. It sounds like you had a fabulous evening.

B.B. came home on Wednesday, we went to visit him, not knowing that he would be coming home with us and of course took the 'small' car, still we managed to cram him in the back. To say the least he has an interesting scar, we are coming up with explanations for it, 'the barber sneezed' is one and a 'lucky victim of Sweeny Todd' being another. He gets his stitches out on Friday.

Thank you for all your kind thoughts.

Huggs,
Lynda

The sky really did go from shades of orange to shades of deep pink - it was absolutely beautiful.

I'm glad he is home and healing; the scar should certainly prove to be a talking point!
