They are - so cheerful that I smile every time I go past when they are open.

We had a hailstorm here! I had to skip off home from my daughter's between bouts of heavy rain.

Love the Easter tree. I think i might try and get Brooke interested in doing something like that.

It didn't quite hail - but there was that rain that you knew, had it been a couple of degrees colder, would have been hail.

The Easter Tree is now an established part of our Easter, then we take the eggs off at Pentecost and hang different things on it as we like, through the rest of the year - until Lent, when we leave it bare, ready to start again with the eggs!

What a lovely flower arrangement and how thoughtful of your now ex-neighbour! The crocus just POP! Beautiful lighting!

I didn't know there were flowering hedgerows...they look like fruit tree blossoms. And it's been years since I've had hot cross buns. YUM!

I was really touched to get the flowers from Allan. Those crocuses really do zing, don't they?

They do look rather like flower blossom - I wondered whether they might be hawthorn, but there are no thorns - it is just growing in the hedge so it is probably self-seeded - I will have to look later in the season and see if there is any fruit there.

I do love hot cross buns, toasted, with butter melting through hem.

What lovely flowers! (Both your crocuses, and the flowers from the nice neighbour.)

We've had weather very like that all weekend in England too!

The crocuses are almost as unexpected a pleasure as the flowers from Allan, as I had completely forgotten planting them.

The weather has been a bit... unpredictable!

I love Now the Green Blade Riseth! One of my favourite hymns.

I wanted to take Grace to the 9.30 family mass this morning. The last few days she's been waking at 7, but with the time change she slept til 8 today - I certainly wasn't going to wake her, so we couldn't get out in time. I wonder if many other parents had that issue!

It's one of my favourites, too - and our, newish, minister really likes it so it actually gets sung now.

That was a nice problem to have, if a little inconvenient. To be honest I was surprised that all the people who were there for the baptism made it - but our service is at 11.00am so not so bad.

It could well be why baby Jasmine was niggly though - our minister commented that this was the first baby in 40 years that she hadn't been able to settle down during the actual baptism - she is a grandmother now and does seem to usually have a magic touch!
