Does anyone have any recipes for apple-flavoured cupcakes, preferably using real apple?

I'm not a huge fan of cooked apple, and would rather make apple cupcakes, than an apple pie or turnovers with my leftover apples - that way, we can freeze them and my boyfriend can thaw and eat at his leisure.
