I want to make 7 Up cupcakes for my office tonight, half with lemon frosting and half with lime (assuming I can find lime extract). All the recipes for 7 Up cake I've found online say to use a bundt pan. Is that just customary, or is it because of the way it cooks? I'm not a member of this community, so I hope no one minds me commenting.

My advisor at school has a cupcake recipe where she uses diet coke instead of milk AND eggs, I think. Hers always come out fine- but I guess I would suggest trying an uber small batch first.

But considering that it's a week after you posted about doing it "tonight", I don't think I'm being very helpful. xD Did it come out o-kay?

It *should* be fine. I've done coffee cake (also traditionally baked in bundt pans) as muffins/cupcakes and they came out great.
