Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes, and Cherry Cheesecake cupcakes

I was on a cupcake roll this weekend, so I made two batches of cupcakes to try out some recipes from my new cupcake book, Cupcakes: From the Cake Mix Doctor.

Edited to add a bit of info about the recipes. I'm not going to take it directly from the book, but I can give you the gist of it, and you can see if you want to go out and get it! Or even try

They were so much easier than I thought, I wasn't sure if they would stay upright while baking, but they did fine. I tried to figure out a way to keep sugar cones standing, but since they don't have a flat bottom I haven't got that one figured out yet. But they would be sooo tasty!

This might be a silly question but, does it go against some copyright thing to give a recipe from a book? I've never posted anything on a baking/recipe type board before, so I'm not sure of the rules. I don't want to get the "copyright police" on my back (they're all over the knitting boards, since sharing patterns from a book is a no-no), but I'd like to share the recipe. Think it would be ok if I didn't copy it word-for-word?

I made an edit to give you an idea of the recipe. I'm not going to copy it straight from the book, since that's not fair to the author, but you can at least get the gist of it.
